Trying to wire in this force 125 and do throttle and cables. Have a few questions.

first two photos are the engine wireing and the controls wirelead. Can I get a female plug so I can use the Male plug on controls. Seems to be a shame to cut it off and but connect everything.

next is the trim wireing. 3rd photo is a 3 wire cable blue green and red. I'm assuming since the heavy gauge wire this is hooked up to battery voltage for trim relays or is this to trim switch. Next few photos show bullet connectors and the trim pump. I think this is for 12v to the trim motor the Male bullets run out of the cowel and females to the relays. Finally the controls wireing I'm sure for trim. The wires coming from the controlls is a four strand purple/white green/white blue/white and black. Black has a ring terminal and I'm sure is ground. The plug has two blue/white and one green/white the purple wire its tapped on to one blue white see photo. About half way three this wireing some one used wire taps and red wire on the blue and green leads. Not sure what for. Seeing if some one can get me close enough so I can get trim switch working.

next is two grounds that run to starter and the starter silioniod. Don't know why there are here. When test running on stand I had battery hooked up and jumped the sylonid. Starter worked right and engine ran. Do I need to use these?

next is battery leads. Self explanatory.

next is controll cables these have threw holes and the ends on the outboard have the ball and slip sleeve style I'm used to. Can these be converted some how.

trying to make sense of this mess. Thanks in advance for any help

You can get the motor wiring harness with the 8 pin female.
It won't really match your block.
Your trying to use a Mercury wiring harness(8pin) on a Prestolite system(screw down type).

The wiring from the trim motor goes to the relays in pic #4

The wiring from the shifter, won't matter as you can't use it unless you change where the cables connect to the motor #11 and where the cables are tied down.
The connectors on the cable ends can't be changed but where they mount can changed and then it will work with the Mercury shifter. Easiest way is a different shifter.

Just seeing cable ends? You should have a ground for the motor, a hot for the motor and then a ground and hot for the accessories. The older T@T had wires to the battery but your relay system got rid of that.

Hey Jerry do you have a link to the 8pin female. All I can find Is adaptor leads. Looking for just a plug with wires (pigtail) I plan on useing a terminal block to adapt over. I dont plan on keeping this outboard just bidding time till I find a 150 200hp

Not sure if it's an 8 pin??

Contact Franz or Crowley and ask them to check the plug for pin holes??
Took me 30min. to chase this down.
Just hope it's the right one.
