I have a late 80s 125 force outboard. It has always ran awesome until 3 days ago. I got to the launch and put the boat in the water. Went to start it and it turns over but wont start. It wont even try to start. Yes i pumped primer bulb. Was not flooded. Any ideas?

Pull all the plugs, ground them and look for spark. If you have fuel and spark, it will fire. Make sure to ground the plugs otherwise you and do damage to the electronics.

Late 80's ?? Year, model, serial#??
Knowing this helps diagnose your problem.

Do the test KBH suggested and then do a compression test.
Battery good and hot??

If you have spark? then check the flywheel key.
It could have sheared.
No spark, check the kill switch?

Loosing spark on all 4 could be the tach is bad, the stator is bad??

outboardignitiondotcom has test procedures for your motor.
You'll need an analog meter to do the base tests.
Some use a digital meter but I can't seem to get the results I get from the analog.
For the advanced tests you'll need a DVA or peak reading meter.
