Good day all,

Quick History: restoring a boat that sat for 5 yrs *2yrs completed uncovered
I'm near complete on the interior restoration.
The engine starts, idles, and runs on the muffs. (all covered in a different thread)

My last issue is a stiff forward throttle.

Just as the post said; now that my remote control is remounted and penetrating oil has been applied I was able to work the cables.
throttle.jpg don't mind the carpet it's the base coat :)

It shifts into forward and reverse easily and solidly. (which is great)

I am able to throttle far easier in reverse, than in forward.

I am able to throttle forward but it's far to much pressure to do so. I've just started learning throttle mechanics and thus far have only reset the air mix and corrected the throttle cam setting. The carbs are nicely in sync, and good and level at WOT.

As of yet, I've not made ANY adjustments other than listed above. Just seems weird that reverse works far better than forward.. I'm thinking that something may be jammed up at the remote control... *which could be sad since I just finished mounting that all in nice :)

I welcome commentary
