So I'm swapping powerheads on my 1988 Force 125 to make it a 150.

I had to replace the lower motor mount. Not too bad.

I've got my hillbilly engineering hat on, so forgive me if this is a stupid question:

The old motor mount components were all intact, including the rubber cushion. Looks to me like they were just glued at the factory.

Can I just clean those plates and the rubber cushion and glue them back together? The polyurethane glues hold like a vise in my experience.

When you did your lower motor mount do you mean the one that is in the lower leg portion of the motor? My just went bad and the motor moves back and forth in the housing. Problem is we can't figure out how to get to it. Do we remove the casing for the outer shell?

Find a manual or start a thread of your own. This thread is old and inactive.
