Help identifying volvo engine and part

Good morning,

I have this inboard engine and its running fine however theres a small water leak from what i think is the water pump. I think the engine is a md2 ? They look the same but not sure would love someone to confirm this. Also ive uploaded a pic of the leaking joint if anyone could confirm this is the water pump.
Following the pipe it comes from the sea **** through the gearbox then into this part

From what I can find it is the water pump, original pump is no longer made and the replacement is 23000 EUR (25534 US) but that had to be a misprint or just not made. Appears you can find all the other parts. Parts can be ordered from iboats

Thanks for the reply, after searching around it appears that it is a md7a model however the water pump is almost identical to the one above. I beleive the seal o ring and gasket is only ? 10 ish so thats happy days thanks

I believe the original pumps were made for VP by ITT Jabsco.
