Replacing my steering cables but can't seem to get second one off of motor cause of space. Do I have to lift motor to replace? I have a Skeeter Bass boat, 81', with a Yamaha pro v 150, 85'. Tried uploading pic's but says pics are to big. Any help will be appreciated, thanks

Your picture is blurry. Sometimes you can move the motor side to side on the transom to allow the clearance to remove the cables.

Modern outboards do not have clamps, as they are bolt on. They do not readily slide side-to-side. You may have to back the boat under a garage door header and fasten the motor to the header and unbolt it to remove the cable.
