Loose controls

I dont know if anyone can help with this.I have this dual binnacle control on my boat.The problem is with the handles,they seem sloppy what I mean by sloppy is they wobblein and out and seem to have alot of play forward and back before they engage and the movement tihgtens up.Can anyone tell me if this is normal.

when was the last time you serviced the cables or the controls?

get the controls manual and take a look

Cables are fine the issue is with the control box.There is no service manual for the control thats why I am asking for help here.

there are manuals for the controls. you simply need to contact either the factory publisher of the manuals and controls

I have already done all the searching there are no manuals other then installation,thats why I am looking for someone that might have had some experience working on the above mentioned control.Thanks anyway.
