When I tilt the engine when on the trailer, if the engine is slightly to starboard the weight of the engine overcomes the steering and goes the whole way to starboard lock while turning the steering wheel by itself. When in the water, steering is very loose and it's a battle to keep the boat straight with the engine running. If I let go of the the steering wheel with the engine running, the engine goes the whole way to starboard lock and boat steers hard. Is there something wrong or is this normal? The boat is a 2000 Fisher Hawk 170 with a Honda 90, steering is rack and pinion.
