Hello, New to the Forums and have used the search function,
I just bought a used motor that I'm trying to bring back to life, the engine side of the throttle gear looks brand new, however the gear on the tiller handle side is chewed up bad and has a tooth broken off. All I've found online was a complete assembly for the shaft and gear, I notice what appears to be a roll pin or taper pin holding the gear onto the shaft. Is there a way to replace just the gear without spending $100+ on an entire assembly? Or has someone come up with a better gear exchange cross over with readily available parts?
