motor conrol id for a 1985 evirude 50 h.p.

cable seem stiff, don't know if it is the cold(35deg.) or if it just needs replacement. bought the boat used, replaced the steering cable and think that the control cable is probably original or just old. does anyone know which cable # fits that motor. don't see any #'s on cable.

Different controls will fit that motor.----You have to state whether your control is factory original to the motor .----Or option # 2 is to post a picture.
