2008 Tahoe teleflex steering issue

i thought this would be a easy repair but so far it’s not. Looked easy but how do you remove the old teleflex steering cable? It looks like it would unscrew from the plastic piece but it turns with the cable. I didn’t know if there was a tab I need to push to release or hold the plastic piece and unscrew it. Thought I would ask before I broke something! Thanks

In the picture, Unscrew the nut, unhook the other end not seen, 'n Pull it free of the steerin' actuator,....

The nut is screwed to the plastic piece. When I try to unscrew it the plastic piece turns as well
