Hello everyone,
I have a 2003 Mercury xr6 150hp. three years ago I didn't connect my battery cables correctly and burned up my voltage regulator. I replaced all the wiring in the motor. ever since this, I've been dealing with battery drain. Ive been able to consolidate it to the motor and not the rest of the boat. if i charge the battery to full and disconnect the charger at 10pm, the battery will be almost completely dead by 8 am. this makes spending the day on the lake bass fishing very difficult. please help me, I'm terrified that I'm going to get stranded in the middle of the lake one of these days.
thanks in advance.
Kurt
