I recently purchased a new Combo fish finder and moved my old Eagle Ultra Classic up to the trolling motor. I just pulled a bonehead move, I thought I had enough slack in the cable but about the second time I moved the trolling motor into the water the cable pulled in two.
Can the cable be soldered back together and still work properly? It's a HS-WSBK model transducer, it has one wire in the center and a shield wire on the outside. The fish finder worked great but I hate to buy a new transducer for an old unit if I can get away with it.
Thanks for any suggestions.
