Need help wiring Mercury outboard

Hello all! I'm needing help wiring my 02 Mercury 90 ELPTO stroke. I am replacing a Nissan 50 2 stroke. I will be using the original binnacle controls. I have searched end on end to find an adapter from the Nissan boat side wiring to the Mercury outboard but I am unable to o find anything. Do I need to hardwire it? If so, could someone give me a wiring diagram for the Mercury and Nissan? Thanks in advance!

Gee, are the shift and throttle controls compatible? If you don't know, you should find out.

Wiring can be adapted, I would think. A new Merc boat harness should be able to be connected (likely solder or butt joints) to the control.

Not sure if an adapter harness exists.
