Trolling motor wiring question

I am putting a 12v MinnKota PowerDrive 55lb trolling motor on my old aluminum v-hull. I'm connecting the positive wire to a 60 amp breaker. Can someone tell me what size wire I will need from the breaker to the battery?

Depends on the length of the wires. Here is a good reference chart from Minkota.

In your case #8 if 5 feet or less, # 6 for up to 10 feet
