1997 GS Glastron 205 SF and Motorguide Brute 750

We just got out 1997 GS Glastron 205 SF back but now having trolling motor issues. Our Motorguide Brute 750 with four-terminal plug not working. We did some circuit testing and was seeing live circuits from the connector in the front bow all the way into the foot pedal. Based on what I see in my engine hatch area I can only find two wires for the batteries. On the front deck, there is a switch to test battery 1 and battery 2, only battery 2 shows power.

Does anyone have any detail how I should be hooking up my batteries
