Old MK Rip Tide wire question...

I want to put a plug on my old MK RIPTIDE 24V 70 motor. The motor has 2 sets of black and red wires coming out of it. I have one set 6 gauge pos and neg coming from the batteries which are connected in series. can I simply just use 1 pos and 1 neg from the motor for the plug side and run the Pos and Neg that I have coming from the batteries up to the outlet side, or do all 4 wires from the motor need to be connected? Hope this makes sense..thanks, Joe.

The motor is set up for wiring to two separate batteries. One pair of red/black to each battery.
