Garmin echoMap 43dv connecting to Uniden UM380BK

Hello, I am trying to get my GPS to connect to my VHF radio. I have the Garmin Blue connected to Uniden Yellow and Garmin Black to Uniden BARE and Black. I have tested the signal coming out of the echoMAP and it is sending voltage between 0.3 and 2.79 dc volts. The voltage was tested at the Radio. But my Uniden radio does not display the GPS location. Any thoughts on how to test the radio?

Check the settings on the radio. You may need to enable the GPS feature in a menu somewhere. You likely will have different baud rates to select as well. Ensure that the baud rate from the plotter matches the baud rate the radio is trying to receive otherwise it won't work.

If you don’t have a white wire on radio, the Garmin blue goes to radio green
