Odd electrical issue

So everything seems to work fine when I have 2 batteries. If I move the switchs, bilge, lights, etc to the main battery everything works except the bilge float switch trips the fuse.

I have checked every connection at both ends. The only change I made recently was add a RPM gauge that shares a power lead at the purple line from the back of ignition for main power and there is a second power wire plugged into the light switch for a backlight. But everything seems right and works as long as they have 2 batteries.

Any ideas?

Ayuh,...... So test out the bilge pump circuit,.......

Where does it get it's power from,..??
How about it's Ground,..??

Sounds like a dead short in that circuit,......

So yea I tested the bilge circuit. From switch to bilge pump it works fine. The float works fine as well.

So the bilge gets power either via the console switch which os powered by a direct hotline from battery. The float is tied in near the battery to this same power line. The brown line that feeds power to to the bilge from the switch is where we tie the other side of the float into the bilge.

I checked all cables end to end that's the odd part .
