I have a Garmin VHF 200 with a bad mic. It doesn't appear these mics are available anywhere and the 210 mic is not compatible. My first choice is to replace the mic if possible but if not, I would want to replace the radio with something equivalent which looks like the 110 or the 210. It appears the 210 has a lot of features I would probably never use so I'm thinking to save the money and get the 110. I want to make sure the radio is compatible with all the Garmin electronics, NMEA2000 network, etc.. I also want to make sure it is a direct swap with the 200 so I don't get involved with changing mounts, bezels, cutting, etc. Can someone give me some advice, please?

Are you using the Garmin network or the NMEA 2000 network?

Neither the 110 or 210 will fit in the opening for the 200. You will need to enlarge the cutout and drill new mounting holes

Thanks for the response. NMEA 2000 network. Is there any reason I should choose the 210 over the 110?

The only things the 210 buys you is a hailer and the possibility of a RAM mic. If you don’t need either, then by all means go with the 110.
