When you say control button, do you mean on throttle handle or on motor? My initial thought would be the three wires, include a red for power. The red probably meets up in harness or solenoid/relay somewhere and then gets directed to the trim relays. The green and blue are your up and down trim wires. The two from the motor seem to be your basic power/ground combo.

Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,..... The 3 wires on the switch are probably 1 for power, 1 for up, 'n 1 for down,.....

At the other end, 1 is down, 'n 1 is up,......

Since that motor did not come with tilt, what is there to lift the motor?

electric? Hydraulic?
2 wire motor or 3?
Relays?

Tilt mounted to transom, electric, three wires on switch mounted on dashboard and 2 wires on tilt cylinder

You are going to need a wiring harness with 2relays and a ground wire back to battery.

I would definitely test the tilt motor before buying or building a wiring harness.
