18' Wagner Flats Boat Re-wire Diagram

I am thinking about re-wiring my 18' Wagner Flats boat. I have come up with an initial drawing and would like to get some feedback from some of more experienced marine electricians on this forum. I just want to state for the record; I am not an electrical wiz bang. So, please correct me. I am grateful for everyone's help.

You do not want the negative battery cable for the motor connected to the bus bar. It needs to go directly to the battery.. Avoid introducing multiple points of failure.

The battery on the left for the trolling motor will never see a charge from the engine. And if you attempt to just jumper a 12 volt positive feed to it you create sparks since the positive terminal on that battery is connected to the negative of the other battery.
