this pump is in a boat belonging to a friend of mine, the boat is a 72 chris craft. the boat has a v ull and a traditional flat bottom pump will not sit correctly in the hull so we need a remote pump. also the float switch needs to be a non traditional type, looks like i need something like this but there is nowhere to secure it safely due to there being no areas that are not structural hull points and i do not want to be putting screws into/through the hull

Pictures, please.

The Hydro Air switch can't be mounted like this?

Epoxy a hunk of wood across the "V" and drop the end into the lowest part of the "V" and mount the switch. Epoxy a wood block to mount the other end of the switch on the side of the "V".

The hose between the switch on top and the bell on the bottom can be extended and Jabasco has a kit for that, so the switch can be mounted anywhere.

Par/Jabasco still builds those pumps and you can still get all the parts to rebuild that pump if needed.
