Guage cluster not working

I have a 1992 procraft 170 pro bass boat. None of my gauges are working, but I have power on my dash. My master power works as well as my bildge pumps, nav lights, aerators, and the back lighting on gauges. So I know I have power to the dash but none of the gauges read anything. It has a basic guage cluster speed, RPM, fuel, trim. Does anyone have any pointers as far as where to start? I can basic electrical work but I’m lost on where to start on this project.

gauges get their power from a single source - the purple wire (ignition switch). they all share common grounds

So check the voltage on the purple wire as well as check the grounds?

Gauges are typically daisy chained meaning power and ground are jumped from one gauge to the next. If power our ground is interrupted to the first gauge in the string, the others won't work. So the problem is likely between the ignition switch and the first gauge in the string. If that were not the problem, at least one of the other gauges would work.
