Lowrance GPS issues??

I recently bought a Lowrance Elite ti fish finder. I have it all hooked up, but the internal GPS is not working! If I go into data sources, it shows GPS, then the next tab shows "Auto (invalid)????" what does that mean? I've tried everything and it will not lock onto any satellites. Just searches and searches, then the no GPS fix alarm goes off. Any help would be great!

I tried calling but was on hold for a very, very long time. Finally gave up. Will try again when I get the patience.

No NMEA 2000 setup. I am only running the one unit at this time.

Is the internal GPS showing up on the device list?

Try a factory reset to see how the unit responses.

Could be the unit is defective out of the box.
