I was having a starting issue the end of last season and removed the kill switch to bench test. Long story short, I waited until this season to put it back in, not knowing how to test it and not sure I have wiring right or another issue. When I pull the Lanyard on the kill switch and turn the ignition switch on, I blow my 12 volt power fuse to the ignition switch.

Is there a way to temporarily bypass the kill switch? There are 3 purple wires and one black going to the kill switch. 2 of the purple wires have 12volts and the black and one purple has no volts with the ignition switch on.

Anyone? if it was 2 wires only, I wouldn't be asking, kind of baffled with the four wires.

Ayuh,.... Seein' that most kill switches are simple make, or break switches to cut the ignition power,....
I donno why ya got 4,....
But anyways, try it with the 3 purple wires together,.....

Black is, or should be Ground, which would explain the blown fuse,.....
