I recently picked up a smoking deal on a 1998 Bayliner Trophy 2052 Cuddy, and want to do some upgrades.

The previous owner had a Raymarine chartplotter/GPS on it, which is still there.
I want to change it out for my Lowrance Elite 5, but looking at how the boat is made, I can’t figure out where the cables run.

The side plastic panels come off in the cockpit, but there is still about a 6’ section where it looks like the transducer cable “might” run, but I have no idea how I would get the cable through there.

Has anyone done a switch like this and have any tips? I don’t really want to pay a shop to run something as simple as a cable and ding me premium shop fees for that job.

pull out the old, run the new......and yes, you may have to dis-assemble half the boat.

Hard to believe that boat doesn’t have a rigging tube under the deck.

Fish tale or heavy monofilemt tied to connector when pulling out the old cable.

Thanks guys.
was expecting it to be a nightmare considering the layout.....and it looks like it might be.

Guess ill I’ll have to try to do it, and if I get P#%^’d off enough with it, take it to a shop.
