Battery Switch for a Yamaha

I'm looking to install an on/off type battery switch on my starting battery. Motor is a 2015 Yamaha FL50 . Any recommendations? Blue Sea looks like they make a good switch but I'm not sure which size matches my motor.

There are lots of models available.

Remember: NEVER switch it on or off with the engine running!

Why cant you turn it to off with the engine running ?

If the engine is charging, the voltage has no place to go, Thus, it goes to the weakest point-usually the regulator.

With no load, the alternator output can go to a very high voltage which can wipe out the regulator and diodes.

I only use BlueSea switches these days.
