Bobs jack plate not working properly. Help need ASAP

I just bought a storm bass boat and it has a bobs jack plate that will only go up but not down. It was working when i bought it but know when i went to take it out it didnt work. i thought it was the wiring but i don't know. maybe a bad solenoid but it was working so i don't think it's that. any help is appreciated thanks

Hi jm526, welcome to iBoats. My LIMITED understanding of bobs jack plate is that it uses a 2 wire motor and has to relays to drive the motor. If this matches your setup, try swapping the relays. Come back and let us know if that helped. Can you describe the motor, wires 2 or 3, number of relays, wire color, etc?

Got it fixed thank for the help. I guess one of the jumper wires from the two relays broke off.
