She turned out real nice. I like the color scheme allot. Another Fabulous Job!:encouragement:

I hope this isn't your last project with it being your keeper and all, because you and your son turn out some awesome boats.

Hope you enjoy her a bunch and catch a mess of fish everytime you head out.

Very nice build John. Are you looking for your next project already or are you going to relax and enjoy the rest of the summer?

Thanks JG, thanks TN. thanks Glen, probably going to relax as far as boat rebuilding for the summer, I have my day job that I have to keep up with during the summer months, still have a business trip as far away as Thunder Bay On, and also up The Pas Mb and towns in between, I only travel in the summertime so I can use my motor home and avoid the hassle of motels, so I'm actually pretty busy in the summer time.I would like to take the boat to Ontario again this year but not to sure about that yet. As far as another project goes getting anything in the US is totally out of the question, $1.33 per 1 US dollar, and I also noticed their prices are higher than usual as well, so we'll see what happens.

Redesigned the dashes cut out 2 pieces of aluminum same size as guage cluster and stereo on passenger side, covered with carbon fiber along with front of glove box redrilled holes for guages and stereo and reinstalled I think it looks a lot better than the all grey vinyl.

When you say "covered with carbon fiber" did you mean a vinyl wrap, coantact paper or ? Where did you obtain it? I had the very same boat but now I am repurposing an 88 BluFin and need to replace the old square instruments and faceplates and like the carbon fiber look.

Thanks for the info. Unlike the SF17 my consoles are not upholstered, they are injection molded plastic with a lot of angles, I am going to attempt covering them both completely with vinyl wrap and if successful make dash inserts for tach, a round radio and a new trim guage. Speed and voltage will be in new HB Helix 9 GPS. I will post results if successful. lol

I'm thinking that he's already done enough damage to his boat and someone who knows what their doing should take over. After seeing that hackery I can't imagine the quality of repair he would put into replacing the entire transom skin and all.

That's rough. But I'd take it if the price was worth flipping it
