This boat is in great shape but going to refurbish and upgrade motor from a 1995 Merc 75, to a 2000 Merc Optimax 135, and it's going to be my keeper.

She almost looks ready to go as is. How much of a rebuild is she going to need? I'm sure by the time you and your son are finished she'll be awesome.

Looks great, I'm nearly at this point and I've got a couple questions if you don't mind..

What brand vinyl did you use?
Are you going to screw the decking down through the vinyl or did you put it on afterwards?
Did you scrape all the glue off the aluminum before putting on the new carpet?

Thanks sub. I used nautolex vinyl flooring, The floor was good so I glued the vinyl directly to it, I scraped most of the glue off the aluminum before I reapplied new carpet.

Thanks for the info. I've been debating between carpeting everything on mine or doing it like yours with a vinyl deck and everything else carpeted. I was leaning towards carpeting everything but thankfully I haven't bought all the carpet yet because looking at your pics I think I've changed my mind again. Do you know what color that is. From the pics I can't tell if yours is the Storm Grey or possibly the Shark color.

Actually it's storm grey, and I personally think that vinyl is a better choice, easy to clean and doesn't hold moisture, your floor will last longer, it's more costly than carpet but will last longer.
