With all that new storage you may have to go tool shopping :)

That does sound like fun, but ill have to add things slowly as I can afford them....Consumables will fill a lot of that space.

I have been spending a lot of time on the Kreg site lately tho ;)

Thanks Ciera, I have the Checkmate in cue, done with most of the structural repairs done, just have to put it all back together.....If that satisfies my need for speed, there are other wood boat plans ive been reviewing.

Update:

So ive been sanding and fairing for a few days, til I ran out of compound. Ordered more and some resin too.

Switched from using a spreader to drywall tools, helped with shaping and kept the resin off my hands/gloves.

And this is as far as i got with what i had on hand.

The stainless bow ring, and stern rings came in, so when im done fairing I can cut the hold for those, and also am ordering the Oyster white paint/primer/non skid additive, and some fine line tape for the boot stripe and non skid areas..

Concrete busting is for younger guys. That's when I'd call in my hunting partner. He's a lot younger and has a concrete business :)

My back hurts just thinking of that jackhammer ..
I always have better results using the drywall knifes over the spreaders . Just easier to hold on to and control the flow .

How many times have you tripped over that little step up? I would be falling over that all day long! Looks like a very nice improvement though.
