FYI,
Water gods said "nope, no work today." Rain probably most the week with regards to Fla. situation. I'll get 2nd coat down when it's dry. Just too many drops getting in.
Using rustoleum clean metal primer. Getting color match from Kirby. So well be buisy again real soon.
Using Woodonglass recipe and consult.

Looking for opinions on the different types of anti-skid applications and materials. My deck will be painted with a rustoleum base.

This stuff works fine, mix it in and roll it or broadcast over a tacky coat and recoat.

I used this stuff:

It said to use 1/2 cup per quart but looking at it after mixed it seemed like a lot so I ended using 3/4 of a 1/4 cup per 16 oz and it seemed about right. I only used about 1/2 the one pound bag. 2 more coats of gelcoat on top of the sand coat made it less hard on the feet.

Lookin good! I haven't applied mine yet, but I'm gonna give the softsand rubber particles a try... Heard good stuff about it, but also not the cheapest option. I'll let you know how it works out, but at this rate, you may have your nonskid down before me...
