HI,
I am trying to paint the back of my boat.
In certain particular areas, the paint blisters up. I have sanded it smooth, reprimed, repainted, and it still blisters.
I am using paint for cars, trucks, and suvs. It is a touch up spray paint.
help!
Josh

Re: blistering paint

Explain "blisters".
Does it have the appearance of a bunch of little "fisheyes"?
Does it have the appearance of "krinkle" looking finish?

Re: blistering paint

This is a rattle can product right? They are normally poor quality paints, made to dry fast and be cheap, but sometimes that's what you need. They do not hold up well when exposed to the weather and even worse under water.

Re: blistering paint

Sometimes it's just the primer, or a combination of the primer and paint not being compatible.
