I have an older starcraft boat. It's a Bahama model around 1973 i think.. It has a closed bow..I am suppose to be able to stand on the bow but when i first did it got hair line cracks in it..
Is there anything I can do to restore this to original strength other than creating a brace underneath??

Create an unside down series of stringers and fiberglass them. It may not ever bring it up to the strength you need.

Bob

I think you want more than original strength. It would appear it was less than required. I agree with Bob , but you should be able to brace it enough to keep it from falling apart. Glass in some aluminum I beam.

Bryce
