Linseed oil is very flammable and can spontaneously combust in the rags you apply it with due to oxidation of the oil creating heat. That said, other than to be careful with it, Linseed is used on Teak all the time. It will darken the Teak unlike the Tung oil that Teak oil is more commonly made of, but both are acceptable, as is straight tung oil.

Thank you Matt167. I found some teak oil at another store here. Your advice about the safety thing is still good to know. Thanks again and Happy Holidays.
