That's the best year!!!!!! 1984 and newer.

That is actually a 115 that deliver's 90 at the prop. I bet it has the bubble back exhaust and YES it can be boosted ;)

Man I haven't checked in awhile. I looked at the Islander thread and it was in the same place I last saw it. I was going to give you some crap about that, but then I saw the new link in your sig. It looks like its going to be a really nice river/small lake platform when your done. Also you scored a nice motor for the new ride. Bummer to hear about your hand, hope your a fast healer.

Whoaaaa nelly.... let's maybe pump the brakes a little bit before we start chopping up that glasser... That looks like a pretty decent hull... Take her wallet, keys and jewelry, but don't hurt her... Seriously, I'll drive up to Michigan to take that hull off your hands... :)

That's what motor I would like to get for the Lonestar. A friend of mine has that exact same motor on his 16' Mirrocraft (identical to a Starcraft SS) and says it will push it to the upper 40's.

GREAT motor Jas! There are few of them around these parts still going as strong as the day they came out of the 'rude factory. :)

Re: 1980 Sea Nymph SS 165 Rebuild

Thanks guys! I am really amped to drag this thing home!!! I got a suuuuuper deal on it! I left the down riggers behind to sweeten the deal (they were manual anyway) but I did get some great stuff with it! I'll post up some booty photos at tear down:D

Bob - I was thinking that the 90 would be rippin quick on this little 16 footer, plenty quick!! So why is it that I am so drawn in by the words you typed up there ^^^^ I may need to look into that mod when the time comes:D

OK, to my good buddy PMC and other bleeding heart glasser guys out there...

This boat is a classic case, check it out...

The seller was a super nice guy, farmer, runs horses, hard worker, just a great guy all around. See, he too was drawn in by the beauty of the glitter boat. He was out at the lake last year, saw this Arrow Glass on the water, skiing, fishing, having fun - and he bought it right there, on the spot, right at the dock!

He ran it one time and noticed flexing at the transom. Brought it in, did some checking, yup sure as sugar, rot. Totally rotted transom. So he started going at it, tearing everything apart, pulled the cap (actually, the cap and deck are all one piece/liner deal) and everything. He dug out the foam, prepped for transom/glass work....

As he was going along rebuilding he got to thinking...

"Man, this fiberglass boat is a TON of work! Sheesh!"

So, he then saw his error, the sky opened up, the room got brighter and up for sale with the bondo boat. He even asked for an aluminum boat on trade in his ad.

So yah, this here glasser will find her way to the land fill in pretty short order;)

Unless somebody wants to come get it? Man, I'd feel pretty guilty putting that on another man though. Kinda like giving away a snagel toothed diseased dog with three legs. That bites.

"Here, he's great with kids!"

YIKES!

Great score Jason, just goes to show you can kick an old tin can around for a long time, but glass just breaks.

I just found this thread. Man you move crazy fast on your boat deals. The 90 looks great, hows the compression? My 90 is a 1990 but I've yet to hear it run.
Hope you have a full and speedy recovery!

ok jign, if memory serves me correctly the man card by laws were just violated with combining of the two words in the same sentence and yet again by the proximity of the words with nothing to separate them.........  :D

still is a nice glass shell with most of the hard work done to give her a tummy tuck. I have to admit I am on the same side as, please forgive me for siding with one of those lawyer types , PMC

Nice find. Great engine. I have an '78 85hp on my 16' SS and it moves it faster than I would ever want to go. That 90 will scoot you along with plenty to spare.
