I WILL be watching this one VERY CLOSELY!!!. Did you get your tablesaw fixed? I'm thinking it'll be getting some use in the near future.

Not yet Woody ... the only saw I been using is the wet tile saw lately ... Gotta borrow a trailer to bring her home ... The original trailer looks sound but I ain't taking no chances .. Will use a flat trailer and roll it up and tie it down .. I think I can fit it into the garage next to the MFG if I get rid of some junk ...

Just ask your boss if you can borrow a bobcat trailer on a Saturday or Sunday. That would be my method. I'm not above groveling though.

All the bosses trailers are up in GA at his hunting farm other than a really way over kill trailer he hauls the backhoe with ..
Got it worked out . SIL just bought a pretty large bass boat type trailer he is converting into a flat bed trailer .. Tomorrow I am gunna install a temporary deck on it and bring her home .. Looks like it will work just fine ..

Yes I know I don’t need a project ..
But I would give the guy a couple hundred just for the windshield...
Maybe keep the trailer and sell the motor ..
Would be a shame to trash the old classic though ..
Idk decap and install a wood planked cap ?
WOG style ! With the lapstrake hull I bet it would look sweet !

Gotta research the year/beam width .. If the windshield don’t fit mine it would be a definite no go ...

just checked specs .. My beam width is 5.5” inches wider .. Windshield may still be the same tough idk ...

The original was made of glass with a good solid frame . Do you know of somewhere that can duplicate ?
‘That wouldn’t cost more than the boat is worth ?

If it's originally glass I bet it was from a car I seen a boat before with glass like that , guy told me it was same glass as a 60 Chevy I think it was

Happy Fathers day everyone !!!
‘My dads gone but what better way to honor him then by taking his boat out for a good run .. Been needing to do that anyway ..She hasn’t been out in quite a while ...E-tec ran flawlessly as it should .. Unfortunately she is a mess right now and needs a really good cleaning and I need to do a little work on the trailer . Got a bit of rust and the paint is pealing in a few spots ..
Need to work on the lights and need some new chrome lug nuts .. Just ran it in the ditch / ICW .. Some folks don’t have

‘Much upstairs .. That pic of Chris at the helm was in a no wake zone .. That boat blew past me and the no wake sign ..
I’ll bet there was 10 people in that boat ..LOL !
Cheers everyone !!!
