Rotten 92 Bayliner Capri 1800

Hi Im new to the forums and new to fiberglass boats. I bought this boat knowing it was going to need some work. I started digging into it today to see how bad it was.

welcome to iboats....and welcome to the dry dock.

i really like the look of the 90's style capris....

i had one and did the deck, some foam and stringer work, plus the interior.

i noticed that big black thing hanging off the back of the transom doesnt have a cover on it.....was that just for inspection or is there issues?
the motor MUST work....or the cost of the project will skyrocket past the finished boats total worth.

Yeah the motor works very well. I was just getting numbers off it to try and figure out if its a v200 or 150 in another thread.

Wow what a great looking hull. Going to find a bunch of baylinner haters here. Dont stress it though they all and I mean all rot out if exposed to water. I happen to love the baylinner brand. But I like OMCs too. Cant wait to see more.
