I have an orlando clipper which I have started restoring. It had a bad (cracked on both ends) floor stringer which I have removed. I have found
a fellow here on Orlando who says he can use his metal brake to make me a new un-curved stringer. I will have to streach it to form it into a curve to follow the curve of the floor. he said he had to change the dies in his metal brake to do such a tight channel shape. If anyone else needs a new floor stringer now might be a good time while he is doing mine. He said it cost a little to change the setup of his machine's dies.
