Hey all just want to say what a waterfull world of info I've received from the other posts. Bought this boat 2 weeks ago, things done new 3/4 oak plywood front fishin deck dash panel and rod storage cover both sides painted with ext.stain. Bow mounted trolling motor 40pd minnkotta its what i had with removable bracket and lowance x96 sonar flasher with trolling transducer. Powrtran tilt and trim for awsome running 1984 50hp johnson that came with boat.Automatic bilge pump switch , i/e previous owner "nope dont leak" replaced 82 3/16 .33 capped aluminum rivets hint if ya need them go to graingers need to have business to business sales but $12 for 250 cured 90% of leaks fished 3 hrs w/out bilge running once ,gallon of gluvit waiting for warmer days as it is 19 degrees right now. "prayin for laid in foam" deck is soft will use 3/4" ext ply from lowes Im 260# so no 1/2". also rewired with new fuse box,bow and stern light, optimax battery, and good battery that came with boat,4 hp Gamefisher kicker motor gives plenty of clearance mounted right to transom but would love to find a removable kicker motor mount as this boat will be used on inland lake more then for trolling. Boat has several 3/8 channel brackets already installed which my handlineing reels mount right too. Have had boat down to Trenton channel once burrrrr and no fish. Wanted one of these boats forever. Bought this for $1,300 another $300 for trim and $64 ply and stain $115 gluvit and figure 3 sheets of ply at $27 foam cost? and carpet or rhino lining. Great site great info and thanks to all those who put in the hard work b4 me so i dint have to think just went and did. Capt. King James of the THRONE P.S. anyone want to help put in 140 feet of dock temp is now 21

Saw your post in my thread so I came looking for yours. No pics? You better remedy that! Welcome, sounds like a nice rig.

Definitely check into marine vinyl for your floor covering. I'm a big fan of mine.

Welcome to the site King:)

I'd recommend getting Arauco ext ply from Menard's or Lowe's. It costs a bit more than the crappy ext ply but it's worth every penny.

140' of dock would leave room for quite a few Starcrafts to tie up, sounds like a party to me.:D

Good luck with the project.

There are instructions on the non-boating technical topics section.

Most of us created an album on photobucket.com and link to there from here.

A gallon of gluvit  a single quart can will do the seams and rivets on a 16 footer. Have fun ;)

Thats a mighty nice SS and a good parking job as well:) Sure doesn't look like it needs much, I'll be happy if my mariner looks that good when I'm done.
