Another case of over thinking things...
Whatever wood you will use for your toon deck ( PT,MG or EX ) will be sealed..so I dont know where the contact of said wood would be on your alum frame.
And your going to set your prepped plys on some kind of sealant right ? ( IE. PL or 3m 4000 ) right ?.. so contact will be at a minimum...
So now you have your prepped ply...and dryfit screwd to your frame...now you pick that up and clean up all that screw hole shavings and such ( unless your thinking you can just prep the ply and direct screw/predrill and glue all at one time lol ) ..
So now you have predrilled prepped ply..then lay down your PL or 3m 4000 ( or whatever ) .. lay that down and screw and glue your ply..
Now for the top ( It should have been allready precoated with resin ( waxed or unwaxed it does not matter because your going to have to scuff it again before your glass ) .. scuff and then wet out a layer or 2 of 1.5 oz mat. ( you can do the 1.5 oz mat and then a layer of 1708 if you want it Beef ). You will NOT need a bubble roller because you cant roll out 2 layers of mat..or even 1 layer of 1708 with mat. You will use a large Plastic Spreader to work out your bubbles and such..Then apply your carpet adhesive and carpet. ..
Just get a box of powdered latex gloves from the get go
. rip them off whenever needed...
