Below 90? psssshhh I am wishing and praying for the 90's here. I would love to see 99! We have had like three straight weeks of 100+ weather here. That's why the ol' No smoking thread hasn't gone anywhere! Tomorrow it supposed to be in the 90's and I will finally get to start on it. WooHoo!!!!!!!

BTW, I like the boat crate/ turner over thingy you built.
Your boat may be new, but I'm not making payments every time I go to the lake!

Hey Robby, Yeah you moving to TX was like jumping out of the fryin pan and into the fire LOL. I am ready for the fall. even with my homemade shade and fan going it is still to hot to move around fast.

Nice project V8.... I'm going to own a Starcraft someday. For now it's a 12' Sea King project.

I bet you are ready for Fall. My brother-in-law lived in Douglasville for a few years and he said the weather was brutal in the summer. And that 100+ Texas weather.... We had a lot of 90+ days here in Virginia; hated it.

Looking forward to seeing your pics.

Thanks cool, now that I know how to add pictures( thanks Robby) I like showing them plus it will help when I start putting it back together. good luck on your project also and if you decide to get a Starcraft look on the Atlanta craigslist as they are always popping up here and tempting me also. I can always go kick the rudder for anyone if they find one close to me and save you some traveling.

Hey V8 - I will keep an eye on the Atlanta Craigslist. We get a few Starcrafts here in Lynchburg but not too many. I'm looking for a Starcraft SS160.... I was in the market for a tri-hull (love the look) but have been advised to get a V-hull for safety reasons, especially if I boat on the Finger Lakes of New York. Hope to move back someday.

            Keep the pics coming!!

Well I took an early start on VAC and took the day off so I thought I would try out my new tilter and soda blaster. First thing was to get the trailer out of the way so.

Then I dropped it down and tilted it onto some dollies and it can be rolled around and it turned out to be very stable.

I started to do some blasting but it was to humid and kept clogging up so had to use the grinder instead but the parts of the transom area that are hard to get to cleaned up great. but be warned it is messy.

Well as the sun sets on another boat resto day I tucked everything back in waiting for another day.

Hello All, I spent another day cleaning the bottom of the boat today. lucky for me the temp was only 84 today with a nice breeze so not too bad for grinding corrosion so I did.

A few more spots to clean and hope to use my soda blaster if the humidity permits and then I can seal and paint then start on the outside.
