V8 if your going to ZC any bare aluminum spots, it was suggested to me to wait 48 hrs after ZC to paint. I guess it would depend on what other primer you are going to use as to when to paint. I have heard anywhere from 8-72 hrs. You have to make darn sure there isn't any residue from the stripper left either or the ZC or primer may not stick. Now is the time for any JB weld also.

Some people say " They Can't"
    They are both right.

Thanks FS, I hope to get this all done tomorrow and get the paint on next weekend as I am trying to beat the cold. I will most likely put it in the garage to paint so no leaves or animals get on it. I don't want our cat to come in with ZC feet LOL

Hello all, well I did not get every thing done I wanted to do today but I got done with all the sanding. I also got the boat washed and scrubbed with scotchbrite pads and the boat is on wheels. I will get it in the garage tomorrow and primed. also got some work done on the trailer

Hello, No I used a brush so I could get the rivets better. the paint is a two part ZC fuel tank primer we use at work to paint the inside of A/C fuel tanks. it is tough stuff and when dry it is resistant to just about everything and very flexable.

Aw man I was thinking about leaving it that color LOL. my wife had another name for the color she called it baby ship green. the best part about this paint is it seals also so its like ZC gluvit.
