......I can smell it from here. That is gonna be the sweetest boat on the water for miles around. Blue Flamingo is a great name too. Keep us posted.

Who cares if you got white legs. A week or two floating around in the Blue Flamingo will give you a tan. I know you got an adrenaline rush when she fired up. :D Next up:: Wood floats!

Thanks everyone, I been running around taking care of last minut details. Got the vinyl letters and numbers to put on her. Boat some fenders for her. Gotta get up in the morning and finish the steering system and then, dare I say it, hook up the trailer and head to find some WATER!!!!

But... I am NOT excited!!!!

Yeah, for a pending 1st splash!!! Steering is optional though right? Hope all goes well in the am to get it all hooked up & 100%. And there are no red lights, no traffic, no pit-stops, bathroom breaks or fuel-up stop, between your place & the closest boat ramp. Is the MRS officiating this momentous occasion? An official splash & underway videos would be much better!

Wishing you: Clear skies, open & smooth water! Congrats on a job well done!

Absolutely count me as a +1 for getting no 4/1 gags for or against splash! That'd just be harsh.

@@&#&$&%&$&#&@&#&$&@&@&@&#&$&#&@&$#&$&

Got up this morning, Steering went in without a hitch...Well not much of one. But I did get it in. Hit the starter...And she fired on the first hit. Ran her for 5 minutes...Good to go. put the seats back in, hooked her up and told the wife to get in the truck. Lake is 35 miles North my house. We headed north and the farther we went I started noticing the trees moving. Closer I got to the lake the MORE they were moving. When I turned west to go 5 miles to the Lake, I KNEW I was in trouble. Trailer was moving on me and pushing the truck too. When I arrived at the ramp everyone was pulling their boats out, white caps were BIG and all the people were talking about how rough it was out there. I was tempted, but... Did NOT SPLASH! When I suggested Diving the 45 miles to the next lake, the Wife made it quite clear that she was NOT interested. It's amazing how leaving the city and going out in the country the WIND can be Sooooo different. Needless to say, right now I am...
