I've got no honey do lists anymore... Just a ton of Bear do this, Bear do that, Bear make more sauce! As always Jedi Master, everything you do it top quality! I can't wait to see this beautiful craft in the water!

Wood,

Nice work. I noticed that your boat has the Selectric Pushbutton Shift, I'll be interested to know how it works for you because the boat I just got has that also. Never owned one before so it's going to be a learning curve. Are parts still available for them or just I keep an eye out for spares for mine?
Look forward to seeing the deck paint photos.

Parts for the Motor are easy, Electric Push Button shifter Not available. Some come up on ebay now an then. If the Servos in the lower unit go bad then you're done. Fortunately for me Mine is in tip top shape. From my extensive research the key is to key the lower seals in good shape an the oil levels correct and they were very dependable motors and shifters. I guess time will tell. If I ever get her in the water.

You are getting close now!!

I put my Glasspar in a little early- I had the boat itself done, but no electrical or power yet. BUT- We had a glasspar owners association get together, so I had to float it... Even if it was with a little 7.5 HP kicker sitting on the transom. I got her repowered and rigged over the next few weeks.

Get it in the water- try it out- and then finish the details! I know that for me it made the rest of the work far more bearable when the end was in sight! I get that way towards the end of every project!

I would have to agree with Andgott...even though my project is not that close to being done, putting it back together so I can float it and seeing it in one piece again has stoked a fire in me! I can't wait to see your boat splashed Wood....might have to take a trip out so I can see it in person!

I think I'm gunna take Andrews and Judges advice. This weekend I'm gunna get the Motor mounted and hooked up, Barrel test her again, and get her onto the trailer. Maybe that will give me the "Kick in the Pants" I need to finish up the small stuff.

Thanks for the "Push"

Wood, I guarantee once you have that bird on the water, you'll bring it home and rush to get it finished! Once it's on the trailer, you'll want to take the next step to the water. (This is your conscience speaking...) :D You've come too far to stall out, you can do it!! Good luck with the plan.

I think I detected a slight cough when you were speaking just now, are you running a fever? Maybe you'd better stay home 'sick' Mon. We wouldn't want to risk you spreading a cold to everyone else.....

I think you've got 'Splashing BF disease'.

It's somewhat rare, but easily cured: You just need a health dose of a few hours floating & cruising your local waterway!;) Your symptoms will dissipate quickly. However, it does tend to be a recurring problem! Same cure works every time guaranteed!:D
