Anyone ever try to fix the Plastic "Hinge" on bow-rider windshield?????

I have a 1976 Glasstron Bow rider. They use a flexible plastic like material as a hinge. Any Ideas where you might get this stuff. I assume it's expoxy'd in.

Every one of those I've come across is broken, I usually just fit a stainless steel or aluminum piano hinge and be done with it. I had one that lost its mid section of glass to a bad hinge a few years ago, it blew off on the highway somewhere.
Of course, I do believe that hinge may still be available from the dealer, they were a few years ago.
