Removal of carpet glue from aluminum

I’m restoring an 18’ bluefin I’m wondering if anyone has a good method of removing the glue from the aluminum after the carpet is pulled off

How about some Acetone and a good putty knife. They make a thin straight blade for a multi-tool and would work with the Acetone. Just an idea...

acetone wipedown and a 4" cup brush on the angle grinder

repeat as needed
