  • Tractor paint for fiberglass

I’ve read all the post on tractor paint and I’m gonna give it a try for painting skin on newly rebuilt transom. I’ve got the concept down except on the primer. I’m going with the rustoleum metal primer and Majik brand enamel and hardner. My question is do I need to add hardner to the primer?

Only if you bought a two part primer

No it’s the recommended primer. Rustoleum primer for metal?

Previous threads say majik brand primer BUT they changed formula and to use rustoleum or valspar primer instead. Yes metal primer, they say it’s ok on fiberglass
