Hello everyone,
I recently found a bayliner trophy 2260 that i might buy.
my one drawback is i found a small gap where the hull meets the seam?? rubrail? not sure what the definition is...it appears as if it was pushed in a few inches its located just above the area where the kicker is installed.
can anyone advise what it might take to repair this gap and or tell me the name of the seam that holds the hull to the top of the boat?
Thank you in advance

$22,000 :D

Actually, it is hard to see the issue from this angle. Got some pictures to post?

What works against you are:

1) 1983
2) Bayliner

cap/hull seam/rubrail
truth is trophy hulls had a big gap in bow and stern, mine was like a half inch it was filled with silicone back in the day , lasted 30 yrs on mine so i guess it was acceptable regardless what you might hear great boats just low cost fittings were used like chrome plated zink instead of ss on rail fittings, things like that , all can be made better with replacements over time:)
